First edition, white title strip and ad back (2 versions depicted). Released March 23, 1956

First edition, Indianapolis pressing (-5S/-5S and -6S/-5S), black RCA label, dog on top. Note that "Just Because" erroneously is credited
as Public Domain (P. D.) on this very first print. The original owner bought this record in the cover above for $1.49 on July 25, 1956.

First edition, Rockaway pressing (-8S/-8S), black RCA label with lines. Carl Perkins is misspelt as "Carle" and the P.D. error persists.

Second edition, black title strip and back cover design similar to EPA-830, fall 1956.

Updated label for the Rockaway pressing (-8S/-8S), black RCA label with lines. By fall 1956, the
writer credit error for "Just Because" had been corrected but the "Carle" Perkins remained.

Very rare "dogless" label variation of Rockaway pressing (-8S/-8S). The no dog label came about when capacity constraints caused
by high demand, forced RCA-Victor to outsource label printing to external facilities. Note that the "Carle" Perkins error remained.

Updated Indianapolis pressing (-7S/-7S), black RCA label with lines. All writer credits are correct.

1965-68 edition, re-using left over 1956 ad back design covers without printing any new ads.

1965-68 edition, Indianapolis pressing (-7S/-7S), black label with dog on side.
