Recorded at Memphis Recording Service on 706 Union Avenue in August 1951.
B-side vocals by Bobby Bland. This original version of 'Booted' was released just as the
business relationship between Sam Phillips and the Bihari brothers' RPM label had started to break down.

Probably recorded at Memphis Recording Service on 706 Union Ave in January 1952. When
'Booted' went up on the R&B charts, RPM re-recorded and rush-released this competitive version.
It went to the top of the national chart in February 1952. NB: Rosco's name is misspelt on the label.
